We’re delighted to announce the appointment of Mary-Anne McIntyre to the newly-created position of Chief Operating Officer as part of our drive to develop our platform and operations capability in advance of the RDR.
Mary-Anne joins us from Fidelity International, where she was Head of Customer Services & Strategic Alliances, responsible for operational and technology management of Fidelity’s key UK strategic business partners. She has played an important role in developing the service proposition of Fidelity’s FundsNetwork and previously worked with Paul Bradshaw to help establish wrap platform Nucleus.
At Fidelity, Mary-Anne ran a team of 700 people based in the UK and India.
Mary-Anne has previously worked for companies including Start Up (UK), where she was Finance Director; Amvescap, where she was Managing Director of Customer Servicing and TPA Operations; and Perpetual, where she was Director of Risk & Human Resources. She also spent 12 years at Deloitte, latterly as Group Director, Financial Services.
Mary-Anne brings with her a wealth of experience in the platform and operations space and it is with great pleasure that we welcome her to Openwork.
It is vital that we have the best possible operational support and systems in place to enable us to deliver our key goal: to ensure our advisers are able to thrive in the post-RDR world. It was obvious from the outset of discussions that Mary-Anne is exactly the right person to help us achieve that objective.
This is the first of several announcements we will be making in the coming months as we strengthen the management team here at Openwork to help us deal with the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead in the run-up to RDR.
