Available to new and existing advisers, the Calibrand Diploma in Professional Finance Advice will form part of our structured 18-month qualifications development programme, which is based around regional study groups of between six and 10 advisers working with local field-based managers.
Following our latest tie-up, advisers joining the development programme will have the choice of studying for diplomas from Calibrand, the CII and IFS, with the network offering programme members a cash flow service as well as a £500 rebate to help cover the costs of the exams.
As Calibrand has a dedicated UK-wide regional test centre network, adviser groups choosing to study for its diploma will be able to take the exams at a location convenient for them. In addition, advisers who pass the mock exam with a grade of 70% or more, but who fail the main paper, will be able to retake the latter free of charge.
Our qualifications support programme enables advisers to choose the route to a level 4 qualification that best suits them. The addition of Calibrand makes that choice even more attractive, offering both new and experienced advisers a particularly flexible and straightforward way to become RDR-compliant.
Like the CII and IFS options, Calibrand falls into our structured programme, which has been received very positively by our early adopters. Advisers tell us that studying in groups instils a discipline in them and we are very pleased we have been able to offer the Calibrand exam within this format.
