Nepal has a rich and unique culture. The heritage centres on music, dance, art, craft, folklore and folktales and is mostly influenced by Indian, Mongolian and Tibetan culture. Nepal was the world's last Hindu monarchy and now has a population of over 26 million (a little more than the city of Beijing!). The country’s dramatic geology has resulted in it being home to Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak, on the Nepal/China border and Kali Gandaki Gorge one of the world’s the deepest canyons.
This promises to be an amazing experience with so many challenges (physical, mental and cultural) for the team.
